A person who was jailed for filming the grisly aftermath of a crash that killed four police officers has become the subject of a fresh police search.
Richard Pusey, who uses they/them pronouns, pulled out their phone and started filming the horrific aftermath of the April 2020 Eastern Freeway crash before posting it to social media.
The 45-year-old spent 10 months in jail over related offences.
Now Victorian police are asking for the public’s help to find Pusey, who is wanted on two outstanding warrants for contravening a court order.
Pusey is caucasian in appearance and about 190cm tall with short brown hair. However, police warn they are known to make changes to their appearance.
The 45-year-old is known to travel across Victoria both by vehicle and public transport.
On April 22, 2020, Pusey made headlines when they were pulled over by police for driving their Porsche at 140km/hr on the Eastern Freeway.
Four officers were standing in the emergency lane when a truck ran off the road and struck them. All four officers died.
Pusey survived because they was urinating on the side of the road and avoided being hit.
It is the worst loss of life in the history of Victoria Police.
