During Scarlett's first appearance on Below Deck, she revealed that she has a strong relationship with the ocean. "I love it," she said. "On the water, so it's my happy place." She also revealed that she got into yachting via a former flame. "The first guy I dated when I moved to San Diego was actually a boat captain. We went out on the water the same day, and then it just became my life," she said. "It's just, like, weird." Recently, she has found a new water activity that she loves: Surfing.

Scarlett enjoys staying active outdoors. One of her favorite ways to blast calories? Going on bike rides with her friends.

On her Instagram account Scarlett has an entire tab devoted to fitness. On it, she shares many clips of her workout sessions. She does a lot of squats, lifts weights, and uses lots of equipment at the gym. She usually hits the gym first thing in the morning.

Scarlett doesn't usually work out alone. She has enlisted the help of a personal trainer, Ronnie Conant of Booty By Barbells. She also has a bunch of workout buddies who help keep her accountable and who seem to make her workout sessions a little more fun.

Scarlett also does high intensity interval training (HIIT) style workouts. This type of training is one of the most efficient ways to workout and involves short bouts of intense exercise lasting anywhere from 10 to 60 seconds, followed by a rest period. Then, the cycle is repeated.  This cycle of hard work and recovery is repeated anywhere from 3 to 10 times, depending on the workout.
